... as we say "hello" to people here in this area called 'Ostfriesland' on the Northsea. I'm happy you've surfed in again!

I fell in love with the Chesapeake Bay-Retriever because this dog is an independent, affectionate individual. His power, his sensible faith are impressive and his intelligence fascinating!

His training requires confidence and patience and compared to the other retriever-breeds one has to be aware of its protective drive!

On my site I would like to give you some information on this unique,  sometimes not easy-going breed, about our trip to the USA - where the chessies originate from - and about my chessies. You also will find the breed standard as well as information on puppies.
